Getting sick :(

The last week I went home to Karlstad for 2 days just to see my family and get some clothes and stuff. It became a hectic 2 days and the only close friend I had time to see was one of my close friends who inspire me very much, Mattias Nilsson.

We used to together in  Cyprus (Ayia Napa) and Oslo – He’s a phenomenal bartender and a very motivating and inspirational guy for me. He’s just a few years older but has already managed to now own and run Club Moments, a fast growing club concept that features the top of the world class house DJ’s performing live. For example now the 11th of March, Avicii is playing at their club. I really admire Mattias and what he has been able to accomplish so far with his projects.

One other day, a family came to my bar to sit down and have some drinks to take a break from skiing. Their bill was getting quite high, so I asked the father how he wanted to pay? He said “Here, just leave my card in the bar and I’ll settle the bill when we leave.”
Ok I guessed and looked at his card. I was a bit surprised to see the title “Count” before his name! I didn’t know that Counts and Countesses and other members of the Norwegian aristocracy had the title even on their credit cards.

We also had an A la carte booking one night from the entire Trysil police unit, must have been lonely for the poor guy to sit there alone..

Im also putting the last touches on my exercise and diet program for getting in shape before the summer and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro: The program is starting on monday and you will be able to follow the progress of my diet and exercise and of course full details of the program. I wanted to start it right now – but Im feeling a bit sick and I’ll use these last days to put the final touch, rest from training to get well and bombard my system with vitamins to recover and prepare 🙂

Life is an adventure! I believe in participating in life - not standing on the side and watching it. Here I will write about all my passions, big and small. Follow my exciting trips around the world as well as my almost normal days at home, wherever it may be at the moment.. If you like inspiration, travel, challenges, training, fashion, self improvement, culture, food and gear - look no further! So to all my stalkers, congratulations! Now you can enjoy watching my life closely at home with your computer, those cold nights with binoculars aimed at my window are finally over. I'll finish my first post by quoting Bilbo (a character in J.R.R Tolkien's The lord of the rings) with a line that ever since I heard it as a child (about 2 years ago) has left a trace in my memory: " It's a dangerous business, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to"
