If you like a good Asian movie, this is a must see. I personally think this movie is a lot better than most Hollywood produced movies! It’s got it all – drama, action, plot twists, likable characters, history, fashion, interior design.. I’m telling you, it’s so beautifully and masterfully shot. It’s like an Asian version of boardwalk empire on steroids. Get the blue ray version with English subs (well, not necessary if you speak Korean). Make sure you have a sound system with a good sub-woofer because a few of the male actors have nice boomy voices.

The movie takes place in South Korea in the 30’s while the country was occupied by Japan , and they have done an extremely well job in recreating the scenery, fashion and interior decoration. If you, like me, really love classic up-dressed fashion and think that too few men today wear nice suits – you will love this movie. It oozes elegance, and the interior designs.. Ah! Watch it, you won’t be disappointed.

Life is an adventure! I believe in participating in life - not standing on the side and watching it. Here I will write about all my passions, big and small. Follow my exciting trips around the world as well as my almost normal days at home, wherever it may be at the moment.. If you like inspiration, travel, challenges, training, fashion, self improvement, culture, food and gear - look no further! So to all my stalkers, congratulations! Now you can enjoy watching my life closely at home with your computer, those cold nights with binoculars aimed at my window are finally over. I'll finish my first post by quoting Bilbo (a character in J.R.R Tolkien's The lord of the rings) with a line that ever since I heard it as a child (about 2 years ago) has left a trace in my memory: " It's a dangerous business, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to"
